About

Taylor is a registered psychologist with a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from RMIT University. She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan in a variety of settings, including community health, schools, and private practice, and works with adults across a broad range of presentations. Taylor has a particular interest and experience in working with trauma and trauma-related difficulties. She supports individuals impacted by childhood and adult trauma, post-traumatic stress, anxiety, mood difficulties, and complex life stressors. Her work is grounded in a trauma-informed framework, with a focus on safety, empowerment, and understanding how past experiences can influence current emotional and behavioural patterns. In her clinical work, Taylor draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Her therapeutic style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative, and she will always prioritise what feels most important to you. She places strong emphasis on developing a shared understanding of a client’s experiences and goals, and works alongside clients to build practical skills that support emotional wellbeing, resilience, and meaningful change in day-to-day life. Alongside her clinical practice, Taylor has a strong interest in research within the women’s health field. She is involved in ongoing research examining endometriosis, with a focus on the psychological impact of chronic health conditions and pain.
