About

Rhonda is a co-founder of PsychWell and a Somatic Psychotherapist with 17 years of experience supporting young people and adults through psychological distress, trauma, and the often complex terrain of personal growth. Her work spans community, mental health, rehabilitation, and medico-legal settings, bringing both breadth and depth to her clinical practice. At the heart of her approach is a genuine belief that well-being grows from authenticity and self-awareness — and that each person holds the capacity for meaningful change when met with the right support. Rhonda's practice is relational and tailored to each individual, drawing on a rich blend of evidence-based modalities including Gestalt Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic and Breathing techniques, Family Constellations Therapy, Biofeedback, Mindfulness practices, and Strengths and Solution-Focused approaches. Deeply informed by Eastern philosophies that emphasise awareness and equanimity, as well as the latest developments in neuroscience, Rhonda is passionate about empowering her clients to understand their own minds, build self-regulation, and move forward with compassion and curiosity. Beyond the consulting room, Rhonda is a mother, a long-time meditator, and an advocate for the intersection of neuroscience and well-being. Her curiosity extends into biohacking, fine art, design, and film — a reflection of a life lived with intention and depth.
