Pina is a warm and compassionate Clinical and Educational and Developmental Psychologist with over 20 years of experience across public and private settings. She brings a neuroaffirming, strengths-based approach to her work, with specialised training in assessing and diagnosing autism (Levels 1 and 2), ADHD, learning difficulties, and giftedness. Passionate about early intervention, Pina works with children, adolescents, and families across a broad range of presentations including anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, exam stress, sleep difficulties, school avoidance, and executive functioning challenges. She supports parents in building positive connections with their children and helps families navigate the complexities of adolescence, from phone use and boundaries to communication and emotional connection. Her practice draws on CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and attachment-based approaches. Pina is also a Board-approved supervisor, supporting the professional development of psychology registrars and provisional psychologists.
