1 reviews about Dr Max Majedi
Awful bedside manner, obviously uses the same “script” when talking to patients about chronic pain. Does not individualise treatment. Would not recommend. Good doctors are hard to find and he proves this rule. A kind way to put it is that he is “straight talking” I don’t think that’s a good quality in a doctor. You require emotional intelligence and empathy.
I agree with your negative review of Dr Max (Payham) Majedi.
In my experience, I would not recommend him to anyone seeking pain management in Perth.
In my experience, Dr Majedi is arrogant, dismissive, unkind, unprofessional and does not follow through with required reviews after his treatments.
I originally saw him (at much expense) as a private patient.
He did not follow through with what he said he would do, and mid-way through my treatment,
plan he shunted me into the public system at Osborne Park Pain Management Clinic, still under himself.
That went from bad to worse.
This occurred with no discussion with me whatsoever, which was not at all ethical or acceptable..
Eventually he started gaslighting me, which was very stressful for me, especially as I was in unrelenting pain, and very unprofessional of him.
I basically wasted two years of my life, in increasingly severe chronic pain and reduced mobility, to which none of Majedi’s procedures, or prescribed meds gave any relief whatsoever.
One only needs to read Dr Majedi’s submission to the health regulator APRAH (do a search on Google) to really see how his mind works.
It seems in his opinion, all his patients have personality disorders, except him, of course!
I suggest any person trying to deal with chronic pain does not go to this self- centred, not patient-centred man.
If you are seeking excellence in pain management, delivered with empathy and decency, you need to look elsewhere. There are many other good pain management doctors to consult with in Perth.
I have recently changed to a new pain management specialist who is proactive, pleasant and professional.
I am presently in hospital having low dose Ketamine infusions for my chronic severe pain which has badly affected my mobility, and for the first time in 5 years, I am feeling relief from the awful pain.
It has been amazing.
Long may it last.
