Dr Lamoury approved my planning scans which all erroneously identified me as ‘Male’ – I am a female she was treating for early breast cancer. I told her I did not want radiotherapy tattoos. She pointed to a freckle on the back of her hand and explained that the tattoos look like freckles. My tattoos, inexplicably, were BLUE. She mistakenly uploaded my highly sensitive health information and treatment plan to the file of another patient. Over time, the other patient and I discovered this gross privacy breach. I lodged formal complaints, which were validated and for which I received multiple apologies.
