Dr Edward Cleland in 2022/3 presented himself as a FRACS medical board registered Facial Plastic surgeon, although Ahpra doesn’t recognise him as such. He is in fact an otolaryngologist who performs cosmetic procedures, which is not the same as being a specialist plastic surgeon or a plastic surgeon or a facial Plastic surgeon.
As a consequence, I now have a severely crooked front-view because of him. The only thing he did is reduce a bump and rotate the tip, but he didn’t fix my crooked columella, which was point of going to him in the first place. And because he didn’t the tip has nothing to support it.
Also, in shifting the tip he caused the caudal septum to deviate rightwards into the right nostril. There is also no lobular refinement, no creation of pleasing dorsal aesthetic lines, or straightening & symmetrical alignment of all the subunits of the nose. Just more deformities. He straightened the profile but without cartilage graft to support the nasal framework the nose will begin to droop.
This doctor has no integrity or scruples.
