He erects a wall between you and him. His answers are brief and you have to tease information out of him. At a time when you’ve just been diagnosed with breast cancer and don’t know anything, his reticence is counterproductive. I felt I had no choice but to stick with him because I wanted the lumpectomy done and over with. I relieved to see him in the rear-view mirror as, after a couple of follow-up appointments, I never returned.
I attended a different surgeon for the symmetry surgery (mammoplasty) to the other breast and felt safe, comfortable and confident in the other surgeon.
I cannot recommend Prof. Andrew Spillane.
