1 review about Dr Karen Morwood
I saw Dr Marwood at Sunshine Coast University Hospital Immunology Department and she prescribed Plaquenil for me to take. Within a week or so of taking this drug, I starting having nightmares most nights and developed Tinnitus – both known side effects of that drug. When I contacted the hospital and told them about these problems, the Doctor suggested I halve the dose of Plaquenil, which suggests to me that hey thought it was the drug causing the problems. It didn’t help, so after a few weeks, after contacting the hospital again, as they had no suggestions, I stopped taking the drug. I am now left with having vivid dreams most nights (not usually nightmares though) and have constant severe Tinnitus. Dr Marwood’s response appears to be that it would not have been the drug which caused the problem but if that was true, I don’t believe they would have suggested halving the dose I was taking. She has been completely unhelpful about providing any assistance in trying to solve these problems the drug appears to have caused. I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.
